Place a folded piece of paper towel under the print heads. You will be running a cleaning solution through the Brother printheads and you don’t want a mess in your printer.

Also, you may want to invest in a Brother printer head cleaning kit. Either way, you will need a small syringe and rubber tube to clean the Brother printer heads.
